By |July 13th, 2017|

After I win this battle with bed bugs, I\’m looking into monitors to give me a leg up on the little monters if ever in the future we cross paths again. Should just a passive monitor and general visual inspection be enough or should I add an active monitor as well?

Are Nuvan strips dangerous?

By |May 17th, 2017|

During bb treatment, our landlord put all of our Nuvan stripped bins and bags  (about 15-20 total) in our basement while the house was being treated by pest service (over the course of 4-6 weeks) . We’re still living in the house and worried that fumes could be escaping from some of the bags (if […]

BB gone/waiting?

By |March 31st, 2017|

I couldn’t figure out how to respond to the question in your answer, so am starting again.  No, I have not used the pest strips in the bins because, as I said in my OP, I’m very nervous about Nuvan.  Should I do all the work outside (cutting the strips to size, putting each on […]

How do I know if they're gone? Or are they waiting?

By |March 27th, 2017|

Paul, when we talked on the phone (thank you!), you suggested putting a heavy plastic tarp/sheet on my bed, hanging over the edges on all sides by about 6″.  I did that in November, and haven’t had a bite since!  Something crawled on my sock in another room in December, but my automatic impulse was to […]

Thanks.
